Go Deeper Into Scandinavia

Experience the beauty of Scandinavia aboard Azamara Quest, freshly transformed through Azamara's most extensive ship enhancement program to date.
With fewer than 700 guests, Azamara Quest offers the intimate, relaxed atmosphere of small-ship cruising, now paired with refreshed staterooms and suites, reimagined dining and bar venues, updated public spaces, and elevated touches throughout the ship.
And while the ship itself will feel refreshed, what makes Azamara special hasn't changed: the destination remains at the heart of the journey.

Trip Overview
Nordic cruise: Norway, Denmark, & Sweden
July 20 - 30, 2028
Day 1 – July 20, 2028: Copenhagen, Denmark

Your Nordic summer begins in Copenhagen, a city where colorful historic buildings, royal palaces, picturesque canals, and contemporary Scandinavian design come together effortlessly.
Consider arriving a few days early to explore the city before boarding Azamara Quest. Wander the waterfront at Nyhavn, visit Rosenborg Castle, enjoy Copenhagen's celebrated culinary scene, or simply settle into the relaxed rhythm of one of Europe's most inviting capitals.
Day 2 – July 21, 2028: Oslo, Norway

Norway's capital blends striking modern architecture with centuries of history and a remarkable connection to nature.
Explore the waterfront, visit one of Oslo's fascinating museums, see the Royal Palace, or experience the city's innovative architecture and thriving food scene. With an extended stay in port, you'll have more time to experience Oslo beyond a quick highlights tour.
Day 3 – July 22, 2028: Arendal, Norway

Arendal offers a quieter glimpse of coastal Norway.
Its picturesque harbor, traditional wooden homes, islands, and relaxed waterfront atmosphere make this the kind of destination that feels distinctly different from Europe's larger cruise ports. Spend the day exploring the historic center, enjoying the waterfront, or venturing into the surrounding coastal landscape.
Day 4 – July 23, 2028: Mandal, Norway

Known for its white wooden houses, beautiful coastline, and small-town atmosphere, Mandal offers another opportunity to experience Norway away from its larger cities.
Stroll its charming streets, discover the local waterfront, or simply enjoy a slower day surrounded by classic southern Norwegian scenery.
Day 5 – July 24, 2028: Eidfjord, Norway

Today brings one of the voyage's most memorable landscapes.
Set deep within Norway's spectacular fjord country, Eidfjord is surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and dramatic scenery. Venture into the countryside to see some of the region's natural wonders, or simply enjoy the remarkable setting as the ship navigates through the fjord.
This is the Norway many travelers have pictured long before they ever arrive.
Day 6 – July 25, 2028: Stavanger, Norway

Stavanger combines a beautifully preserved historic center with easy access to some of Norway's most dramatic landscapes.
Explore the cobblestone lanes and white wooden houses of Old Stavanger, discover the city's waterfront and museums, or venture farther afield to experience the surrounding fjords and iconic scenery.
Day 7 – July 26, 2028: At Sea

After several days of exploring Norway, enjoy a leisurely day aboard Azamara Quest.
Sleep in. Enjoy an unhurried breakfast. Find a quiet spot on deck with a book, visit the spa, or linger over lunch without having anywhere you need to be.
On a small ship, a sea day feels less like waiting for the next destination and more like part of the vacation itself.
Day 8 – July 27, 2028: Skagen, Denmark

At the northern tip of Denmark, Skagen is known for its distinctive light, windswept beaches, yellow cottages, and long history as an artists' retreat.
Visit Grenen, where the North Sea and Baltic Sea meet, explore the town's galleries and museums, or simply wander through this charming seaside community.
Day 9 – July 28, 2028: Gothenburg, Sweden

Sweden's second-largest city feels sophisticated without being overwhelming.
Explore its canals and historic neighborhoods, browse local shops and cafés, visit one of its excellent museums, or experience Gothenburg's celebrated food scene. Its walkable center makes it especially enjoyable for travelers who like having time to explore independently.
Day 10 – July 29, 2028: Fredericia, Denmark

Your final port offers a taste of smaller-town Denmark.
Known for its historic fortifications, walkable center, and relaxed atmosphere, Fredericia provides a lovely contrast to Copenhagen and the larger Scandinavian cities visited earlier in the voyage.
Enjoy your final day ashore at an easy pace before returning to Azamara Quest for one last evening onboard.
Day 11 – July 30, 2028: Copenhagen, Denmark

Return to Copenhagen, where your Nordic summer voyage comes to an end.
You may choose to fly home or extend your stay and spend a little more time enjoying Denmark's capital before returning home.
